Ok, then I'll do the addon domain option. But hopefully, when ppl enter the url to my address... it's the new domain name typed in, not like subdomain slash newdomain.. or something like that...

Parked means that you are going to host the domain BUT you'r e not going to use it. So when people go to that domain they don't see any content or anything. But when they go to the subdomain they will.

Eh, I don't want another domain next to my current subdomain name... I want to replace the current subdomain with the new domain... So, does that mean it needs to the Parked option??

Yea Add on. The difference between Add on and parked is with Add on you make the domain a site. With parked you are hossting it but its not a site its just sitting there . Its ok I don't need your cPanel its nt going to tell me anything since your not the head acocunt. I'll look around the web to double check you have to do it first. Either way I don't think it would hurt. I know for my host you HAD to change the nameservers then add on.

Eh, I read the documentation in my Cpanel.. But can't seem to get it. Do you mind getting in my Cpanel or something to know something for sure?? Cuz this is my first hosted site so I have no clue about sites much.

I'm not positive but I think so. I haven't done this in so long. Just double check . Read the cPanel faq or something to make sure you need to change the nameservers before adding it on. When I was hosted with dreamhost I HAD to do it for my hostees so I'd think so but just double check before you go through the process.

I think I can generate the nameservers of each site... Lol. So, I need to get the nameservers of my original hosted site or the host's site??

Eh, that's crap. lol.. I tried emailing her couple times about it and no replies. I have no friggin' clue where she is?! It's like she's hiding. So, there's no way I can get thru her to get the nameservers... Eh, I guess I'm pretty stuck there.

Tell the girl thats hosting you to give you her nameservers. Then after you change I believe thats when you do the add on domain thing.

Um, I got hosting from some girl named Melissa. There's like AddOn domain and Parked domain in my cpanel in the original hosted site. I think the nameservers come from the parked domain, isn't it?? Eh, I have no clue.

What site are you getting hosting from I'll try to find the servers for you. No worries its not hard your just going to change them :) The hard part is waiting for it to be done by the company.

Uh, I don't see nameservers on my original hosted site in the Cpanel. Could you be able to do it for me? Cuz I'm completely lost with this. I looked everywhere thru Google and such. lol I don't understand quite well, eh. I only saw the nameservers on the site I bought the domain from.

To another host? You need to go into the domain log in account they give you and change the nameservers of the domain to that of the new hosts. Depending on where you bought it they might have a guide that shows you how to do it. It pretty simple, it just takes a few days sometimes. The new hosting site should have their nameservers somewhere on the site or should have emailed them to you o you can do the switch.

haha, yeahh. there's one girl who needed help with putting a new div layout on her page. and i told her to just follow the instructions there. and she's like it's still all messed up. and i tried testing it in my myspace tester page. nothing was wrong. so, i was like eh? you can still get it... just erase everything in your profile and do what they say!
